Hotel
The I Hotel and Conference Center is the official host hotel and site for the ABCC 2014 Conference. The hotel is located at 1900 South First Street, Champaign, IL 61820.
Please book your hotel stay directly through this link, or by phone: 217.819.5000. Ask for the “Association for Black Culture Centers” block of rooms. The conference room rate is $129.00.
The block will expire on September 30, 2014, or when our block of rooms are sold out, whichever happens first.
Travel
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is readily accessible by car, plane, and train. We are served by American Airlines at the University of Illinois's Willard Airport (CMI), located 5 miles south of Champaign. Amtrak provides daily rail service to Champaign from Chicago and points south through New Orleans. We are also reached by car from Chicago-O'Hare, Bloomington-Normal Regional Airport, and Indianapolis International. Transportation Around Champaign-Urbana
The University of Illinois campus and the surrounding Champaign-Urbana area are served by the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District (MTD). Zipcars are also available around campus to members, including at the I Hotel.
