The Black Congratulatory Ceremony is held every year to honor the African American graduates on the Illinois campus. The BNAACC recognizes those students of African descent who have graduated from the U of I with a bachelor, masters, Ph.D. or professional degree in a ceremony reflecting the African American tradition.
The 2018 Black Congratulatory Ceremony will be Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 7:30 pm in 100 George Huff Hall, 1206 South Fourth Street, Champaign. The doors open at 6:30 pm and academic attire is required for participants. This is a non-ticketed ceremony. No tickets are needed to attend as a guest.
