2020 Black Congratulatory Celebration

2019 Black congratulatory, BNAACC, graduation, UIUC

The Black Congratulatory Celebration is an annual event held to honor the African American graduates on the Illinois campus. The BNAACC recognizes those students of African descent who have graduated from the U of I with a bachelor, masters, Ph.D. or professional degree in a ceremony reflecting the African American tradition.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Governor of Illinois' Sheltered In Order, the May 2020 Black Congratulatory Celebration In-Person event has been postponed.  The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will offer a virtual ceremony.

For more information on the campus-wide virtual commencement, please visit commencement.illinois.edu
