Interfaith Diversity Experiences & Attitudes Longitudinal Survey

The University of Illinois is conducting in partnership with researchers at North Carolina State University, New York University, and Interfaith Youth Core. The study explores how college students relate to people of different religious and nonreligious perspectives—and the experiences students have with religious diversity on this campus. This survey is being sponsored by Diversity & Social Justice Education, New Student Programs, and the Illinois Leadership Center.

Through this survey, first-year students have an opportunity to share their point of view and experiences twice over the next year (Fall 2015 and Spring 2016) and again in your fourth year (Spring 2019). The Interfaith Diversity Experiences & Attitudes Longitudinal Survey (IDEALS) will ask about your previous experiences with religious diversity as well as your current opinions and takes about 15 minutes to complete. All of the information you share will be kept secure and confidential. All respondents who complete the survey will receive a $5 Amazon gift card. For more information about the IDEALS survey, visit the Interfaith Youth Core website

We hope to hear from students who represent a wide spectrum of worldviews, including religious and nonreligious perspectives. participation is vital to the success of this project and will help to make a difference at the University of Illinois!
