Breaking Boundaries on Bystander Intervention

Event Description: Rebecca Nagle (Cherokee) is a two spirit community organizer and writer. As a Co-founder of FORCE: Upsetting Rape Culture and the Monument Quilt, Nagle has used art and culture jamming to advocate for a culture that is more supportive of survivors.

Helping Navigate on Nevada: Expanding Services for Student Success 

Event Description: The Women’s Resources Center (WRC) has worked in partnership with other units within the Office of Inclusion & Intercultural Relations to create an innovative model for confidential advising services for survivors of sexual misconduct. This session will discuss how and why La Casa Cultural Latina and the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center host embedded confidential advisor from the WRC and the activism that made this program possible.

Supporting Survivors of Military Sexual Trauma
