Native American Heritage Month 2016
Native American Heritage Month is acknowledged nationally and was declared as a theme in 1990 by George H. W. Bush. In 2009, the day after Thanksgiving has also been declared “Native American Heritage Day.” Native American House works with numerous units and departments at Illinois along with regional organizations and agencies to bring you culturally relevant and informative programs to the University of Illinois year-round.
