Women’s Career & Leadership Development Programs

Women’s Career Institute

The Women’s Career Institute is a career and leadership program sponsored by the Women’s Resources Center in collaboration with the Career Center, YWCA of the University of Illinois, the AAUW Champaign-Urbana (IL) Branch, and the School of Molecular & Cellular Biology. It offers a range of workshops and panel discussions designed to prepare women for the workforce. This year we will be covering topics such as finding a job, strategies for communication and leadership, strategies for addressing discrimination and harassment, and salary negotiation.

Should you require any additional accommodations (assistance with food and seating, large print programs, ASL interpreter, visual/audio assistance, etc.), please contact the Women's Resources Center, at womenscenter@illinois.edu, or via phone at 217-333-3137 at your earliest convenience.

This year the Women's Career Institute will be on February 24, 2018 from 9am-5pm at the Women's Resources Center. The Women’s Career Institute will be hosted at the University of Illinois’ Chemical and Life Sciences Laboratory located at 601 S.
